Good news, Qam's mom agreed to prepare the food stuff for us. HOWEVER, there are other things that we still need to buy on our own. Things like the grill, cups, plates, sausages etc. Most probably we'll do the shopping in the morning of the bbq day.

Now each person have to pay $12+ for the food, bbq pit and the other things that ive mentioned above. So prepare around 14 bucks for that and pay up on the bbq itself.

The food that Qam's mom is preparing includes
1) Marinated chicken
2) Prawns
3) Otah
4) Fried bee hoon
5) Chicken rice (the chicken we get from the bbq-ed ones)

Thats all for now, if theres anything regarding the bbq, i'll post it up here. Any enquires, call me (Im Haziq). Oh ya, i would like to thank Qam's mom for preparing the food even though she has tons of orders already.

Alright, ive booked a bbq pit at east coast on the 11th june 08, wednesday. Pit number is 52. So make yourself free on that day, must oi, one day of fun with your mates wont kill you. So most probably, we will meet at bukit batok MRT at 12pm, then make our way to east coast via MRT and bus. I'll post later about the food cause aiman told me about this service that we can 'order' our bbq stuff. OR if anyone of you would like to volunteer to prepare the food (the ones which needs marinating ), call me, we can discuss about that. Qam, i like your mom's marinated chicken and zulkifli, your prawns *hint, hint* I'll include the price that each of us needs to pay in the next post too, expect the usual price.

so here goes.
recently, the malay media produced something called "satu jam"
one hour. in one of the episodes, it portrays the daily student's life here in our lovely hometown, singapore. sounds normal, but get this, its more on the negative side of it. u know the usual stuff like smoking, woo-ing girls(for us guys), studies and sex.so u know, after watching it, i feel it is abit disturbing as it may convey a wrong message towards the consumers mainly parents. a kind of stereotyping i guess. iknow that they trying to avoid us from getting into such s**t. but what siah!

so, we as the targeted group of people. the guys who kena stereotype. rabak siah.

hello my brothers! How I miss all of you so much. The september holidays are coming and I suggest that we get together and have a bbq like old times. Food+soccer+sing along session at night+cycling trip= FUN! Ok, so here it is. I need you guys to inform your represensatitive of your current school about the date, location and the collection of *shing, shing, shing* money! Please tell your reps asap so that we can confirm the location and the pit.

The possible locations
(1) West Coast Park (easier to get there and to get home, but no bicycle renting shops)

Oh Well.. I Was Forced To Type By Haziq. So... FORCE OI FORCE!!!!

Sec 1 - [. NOOBS .]
1st year in Dunearn Secondary School. Felt nothing. Attitude during CCA, lessons, after school as there was no life during the year of the newbies. Skipped band practices with Qam. Run here Run there. Then in class i'm only concentrating on setting up the overhead projector for history lessons more than my studies. I don't care about everything. What i knew was that i always got scold by Mr Vijay. His tutorial improved my Mathematics but all the other subjects ended up into the drain.. To sum up everything, sec 1 was nothing.

Sec 2 - [. Abu:PEKABO!!! , Zulkifli:BAIK!!! .]
The fun begins. Keeps on writing lines everyday in malay class by Suhaini Sarikon with Fahrun. Day by day, i got to know more about the 2e1 because my longest serving fren named Zulkifli (Wak Bir) was there. Then we joke here joke there.. POWER CORE!! After school always end up in the field diving and get dirty.Wonder how many soccer balls are gone during the actitivity.Well, at least everyone improved in soccer. By that time Mr Vijay's hairy chest was out of my mind oredi as he didn't teach mathematics anymore. Hunger for success started to grow in my mind. Force myself to go for Band after Qam quitted the CCA. (WORTH IT OI).

Sec 3 - [. HAHAHA! SHORT PANTS SIAL! HAHAHA! .]
The life starts here! FUUHYOOOO LONG PANTS. Kept on teasing the lower secondary pupils after that. Fun seh. By that time, National Wak-Wak Organisation was born! Chalet, soccer, mosh, cycling, Project I.K. hehe.. Recess = Eat together, Drink together, Pee together, go up class together. Baik ah.. Like wat Qam said, it was my favourite year too! Our general Zulkifli was always there to give Aiman, Qam, Hafiz and me a fun time in class every day. However, a lot became busy with their stuffs like Student Leader, SYF, Dunearnite.. but then all these little things are the one which help us became closer.. Like throwing zai at the mat behind the hall. Everything ended so soon i guess. Good for Zai though.. haha

Sec 4 - [. FORCE OI FORCE!! .]
Ee er Angsa Chee Bye! Everyone starts to scare... except NWO. Nearly the whole batch of sec 4s went home early everyday but we kept on forcing ourselves to play soccer.Katai here katai there. Study group always ended up playing scrabble or making noise in the library. As usual, Zai got punished for nothing. Too bad arh. Then we beat up feros, tear ryan's certificate(HAHA), throw "mercun" at people's house, food fight, EVERYTHING THAT WE COULD DO. All good things must come to an end. O levels started and chiong all the way till it was over. Then got prom which I and Justin didn't turn up. After that, bb.

as in wak customs and tradition, PEKABO to all.

i didnt love the school that much. coming from a sucky primary school with a lack of friends, i wasnt quite interested in getting to know new people. the only pal i had was Aidil. fresh and raw, everyone's impression of the other were innocent and harmless. in years to come though, brutality merged with our souls (power phrase man!). anw, i soon realise that friends were everywhere.

hell of a year man!
people start changing. wilder than the once-innocent-asses we were then. and most particularly, our puberty stages have reached optimum. so everyone has a chance to be horny. LOL. so p*rn was quite "famous" that time. sec2 was also the year we sophomores get lazy. HELL lazy. BLASPHEMOUSLY lazy man. girls, soccer, peer pressure, malls, HW...bla3. so yeah, power huh? at that time, i considered smoking to be a dreadful thing. wow, looks who's talking now. and yes to haziq, we were quite hostile during that year. 2E1 and 2E5 were like neighbouring countries hoping that the other party wont declare war for any particular reason. so yes, we didnt talk much. the rest of the sec2 classes werent even in the damn picture (srry to justin and james, i only got to know you guys in sec3). so thats sec2, when we were dumb.

NWO was fully an official guild amongst the sec3 boys because that year, WE UNITE. hell yeah! my favourite year. slacked even more man. but slacking has its consequences. our general Zulkifli Hassan didnt quite make it through. *one minute of silence* HAHA, likes hes dead or something. nahh, just didnt experience sec4 with us. too bad huh. and yes, more soccer, girl problems, peer pressure (and i got hooked onto smoking, bummer). our debut wak BBQ was during that year too. Muz's birthday it was. rating for the bbq, POWER CORE. and also, Icarus was formed. *holding back tears* im so proud!

everyone was so hyped abt it. for me, sec4 was my downfall. i screwed everything. heres something to share to you guys. my family had a bad turnoff (shant elaborate much abt that). i was warded in hospital for 3 days because of high fever. i had a wrecked love life (but who cares?) and everything fucked up happened that year man. you guys didnt know it because i dont think anyone would care. pfft! i havent tried, thats why. anw, PROM was also during that year. i hated prom. even though the stuff following that were kinda wicked fun!

ok guys, friday is the big day for all of us, RESULTS DAY!! Now, we shall take a walk down memory lane................................................
Remember the time, when we were all in secondary one, freashly baked from our respective primary schools, very raw, intimidated by our own future which lay before us in dunearn, always thinking the next move we make in this dangerous game of life and for some, venturing into the reality of life and have found new entertainment, P_ _ N(you guys should know this).

Secondary two, getting a bit relax now a year older, forgetting or to some extend, incredibly lazy to complete our homeworks/study. Playing and having fun is all that we care. Soccer, bowling, girls, lan, online games, class outings and most importantly, finding ourself an identity in dunearn. I could still remember the period of time when the malay ppl from 2e1 and 2e5 respectively watch and communicate with each other in an unusuall, secretive and to a small extend, in a hostile manner. How dumb we were.

Secondary three, a year where we move into a new class, new classroom, new classmates, new teachers and a new focus in life, preparing ourselves for the dreatfull 'O' levels examination. In this particular year, we also lost a favourite, loving member and the founder of this brotherhood, Zulkifli Hassan. Not that he is dead or anything but simply speaking, he is not able to graduate and celebrate with us this year, 2007. This is also the year where we organise our first bbq at east coast! This event was also in conjuction with the celebration of Muzhaffar's Adnan(aka muz) birthday. This is also where we start to come out great ideas of throwing zai into the sea and all other man-made/natural things which have a hole in them. We even go to the extend of digging a sand pit at east coast to throw him in but it never happened.(haha)

Secondary four, the year of the infamous 'O' levels examination, but for most of us, it was just another big test to get out of secondary school. This idea stayed with us from the begining of 2006 to somewhere around late june, afterwhich we panic after knowing how important 'O' levels is. This was the year of the late, great and memorable soccer matches we had after the grueling peer-tutoring. Going back home only when the watch shows somewhere between 6-7pm. Soon the exam papers we right infront of us, questions were thrown into our faces, reading them carefully and our mind locked onto the paper. Soon, the gruelling and worrying came to an end. We experince our first prom night together, booked a hotel room and had one hell of a time together!

Those were the days guys, i hope we could keep up this friendship until we are roughly 90+++ years old.

Anyway, fellow honourable knights of this organisation, i stand here before all of you to inform that we great men, must meet at WestMall macdonald(cause thats where we are gonna have breakfast) on fiday,9th of febuary. Time of meeting is 9am. See you there

Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance

Ok bros here's the deal. Chalet from 25th(sunday) to 28th(wednesday) march. Check in on the 25th at 3p.m, and checkout on 28th in the morning. Total damage: $320 for the double storey terrace/ $260 for single storey bungalow. JC guys and Zul will just be joining us for the barbecue on sunday. Unless you guys want to skip school(up to you lah). Please make yourselves free. For those who are working, please apply for leave. I need a confirmation ASAP. So guys, please tag on the board if you're in or out and which type of chalet you would prefer. I'll be calling y'all up pretty soon for a final confirmation sometime next week. Alright mates it's been aeons since someone has posted. I'm here to break the drought. Some of the guys have been suggesting a chalet. Nobody has really gotten down to planning it and since most of you are working and I'm not, I shall do the planning if you guys are cool with it. Alright here's my suggestion. The chalet of choice would be Aloha Loyang. It's the only chalet I know of that has 4 bedrooms (air condidioned) with 2 queen-sized and 4 single-sized, 5 toilets, a bbq pit and a fully equipped kitchen. I suggest we get the pool terrace. It's a doule storey terrace facing the pool. So we wouldn't have much trouble clearing the mess after the bbq. Just have to chuck all the rubbish (including ryan and zai) into the pool. I suggest we have a 3 day chalet preferably over thursday friday and saturday. The total cost for renting the chalet over these 3 days would be $400. Because we are paying for 1 off peak day(thursday) and 2 peak days(friday and saturday). So that makes $80+$160+$160=$400. I know it isn't cheap but if we have a full turnout of all the waks, it would be about $20 per person. There is another alternative though... We can get the more budget bungalows. There are still 4 rooms and all but they're single storey. Total cost for that is about $330. Now all I need is to fix a date and a confirmation of who's going and which chalet you guys prefer. ok men, here's the mission status. Me and a lot of the guys are suggesting to rent a room or a few after our prom. Since our prom is gonna end late, there's not much transportation running at the late night, so, lets enjoy together and rent a room at the holiday inn itself. So now, i wanna know if anyone wants to join us. I've ask Mrs Hazel Lee about this and she said that she could get rooms for us at a student rate, so is gonna be cheaper. I need to confirm as soon as possible cause i need to make reservations a month before the prom. So please guys, let me know by this Friday, 3rd November. OK BABES!!! The fasting month is coming. Tha best way to enjoy during this wonderfull month is to have DINNER TOGETHER!!! Since last year we have the same thing(we had dinner at pizza hut), lets make this an annual thing. So lets talk about this year. Im considering to eat at oishi pizza like james and muz suggested but im open to suggestions. The time is not confirm also. maybe we'll have it during our 2 weeks of break from school. hey guys, this post is regarding bookings for our prom dinner tables. We only have one problem, that is the waks have only 16 members(excluding zul), so there will be 6 members that will be on another table. I was thinking that the remaining 4 seats wil be occupied by our other friends like ariff and friends. I will try to get both tables to be side by side, Mrs Hazel Lee(teacher-in-charge) is very open to suggestions, so dont worry guys, i will try my best to get both the NWO's tables together. So, we wil still be together. The allocation of seats is yet to be confirm.

one more thing, please pay the wak fund to aidil every week. Next year, in january, we will once again have a wak chalet. Details is being discuss but we already have a good place to crash in mind(regards to james)

Well. Me and Zul are right now planning to perform for the teachers during the Teachers Day Concert celebration.We're trying to form a choir and sing during the performane. It's kinda ambitious but we're are trying out stuffs as you can see. We don't expect you people to sing like the one in Youtube la. At least u peeps can contribute by supporting. Me and Zul will find a simple and melodius song for us to perform. So we hope this organisation will contribute the man power for the strength of the Group. PLEASE SUPPORT US! COME ON NWO.

guys, at the end of this year, there wil be another NWO gathering. We have been thinking about chalets or we might be going to KL(if everyone is able to do so). So, good news guys, the official NWO fund collecting has return. Please give it to HAZIQ(its $2 by the way). Today's headlines, The Wak-Wak National Oraganisation, the NWO have arranged a bbq on this day. This fun-filled activity is being held every year by the NWO commitee and is a big event for all of them. With the success of the previous bbq held last year, it is hope that this year's bbq would be a hit. The bbq will be held at the East Coast Park from morning till night. I wish the waks good luck.

to give some idea about the food thats gonna "appear" during the bbq, here are some of it

seafood- string ray(ikan pari), prawns
normal food- chicken(a must have), sausages(a must have), satay
other food(staple)- mee goreng
desserts- brownies or muffins

ok power babe, due to the confirmation of the bbq, i need 2 asign everyone jobs to do and what is gonna happened in the 14th. Everyone staying in the cck/bukit panjangwill gather at cck interchange, the place where there used 2 be 'World of JJ' at 8.30 sharp. These ppl will be called group A. Once group A is gathered, we will proceed 2 jurong east, IMM to buy the food via MRT. The ppl living at bukit batok(bb) area will meet at BB interchange at 8.30 too. This will be group B. Group B will the meet group A at BB MRT platform.

to avoid confusion, each group will be asign a leader. Group A's leader will be Aidil while group B's leader will be Jamil. So guys, please co-operate with them during the day of the bbq respectively(according to your area). Any question regarding the meeting and time, please refer to them.

ok, now for the food part. We will use the nwo fund 2 buy food from IMM, GIANT. Giant will be open by 9.30, so by the time we get there, its already open. After buying the food, we will proceed on to east coast via MRT, bus, TOGETHER. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!

for the cultery, plates, cups n tongs. EVERYONE MUST bring these things. Those who have these things please bring it,cause our badget is tight. Zul, bring your coldflask! Muz will bring the charcoal n fire starter. Lighters will be provided by the smokers. So guys, dont let us down.

due to jamil's overseas trip, the last week will NOT be used 4 the bbq.(read on guys)
ok guys, haziq here, i need 2 confirm a date for our bbq. Preferably during the last week of the june holidays. Because we have our own class bbq on different dates, lets leave the 12th-16th for the waks yeah? I need the date as soon as possible. O yeah, before i forget, THOSE WHO HAVE YET TO PAY THE FUND, PLEASE PAY IT 2 HAZIQ. Come on guys, pays it for the sake of the group, THE FUTURE OF THE WAKS DEPENDS ON US!

1 more thing, i would 2 congratulate ICARUS n WICKED BEATS 4 winning the D'gig talentime 2006. ICARUS won 1st place while WICKED BEATS won 2nd place. Both groups originated from the waks, n im sure that the rest of the members are happy 2 have such great n loving friends.
